Default Look what I just bought!

I just got this today! I've been lusting after her for a while. 8/8 Henckels Friodur Square Point with black plastic scales. Soon I hope to get some Ebony scales for it but the blade is awesome. I haven't yet shaved with it but will tonight. It looks pretty cool with that custome ground back.

Here is all the info on it.

8/8" wide worked back square point Henckels Friodur razors from the famed Zwilling-Twin Works of Solingen, Germany. My supplier discovered a cache of unground Henckels Friodur razor blanks in his home town of Solingen. I am able to offer a quantity of these fine "ice hardened", (cryogenically treated), INOX "no stain" stainless steel razors for your shaving enjoyment. They have been recently ground and the spine modified by one of the few remaining Master Razor Grinders of Solingen. This listing is for 8/8" razors with generic black plastic handles.

    So it's NOS. Thanks!

Looks pretty special <drool>. Is the grind as hollow as it seems in the pic?

It's a full hollow grind. I will post pics of it as soon as I can.

Just shaved with it. I have to say I like the big blade much better. The others i have (Dovo spike point & Best Quality) are good. I especially like the spike point with Ebony scales but I don't know if I will ever buy another 5/8 after this. It feels like you have better control and just a better feel overall.

Yep that's right. I didn't even realize he lived pretty close to me. I called him up and he met me half way. Nice guy.

Is that one of the ones on ebay from the Polish seller? I thought I'd heard some mixed reviews about the quality on those. I'm glad you got a good one.

    EDIT: NVM, it's from shavingshop.
