Default It feels I stole something...

I just bought a Dorko for 15 euros..

I'm pretty sure the scales arent original but the blade seems to be pretty ok.. I havent received it yet but from these pictures I didnt see too much of a problem...

It probably needs some cleaning up and I can practice my honing skills on it..

Well.. I was right... the scales definetly do not match the blade.. they are a tiny bit short and the round part sqeezes between the scales and the wedge to close in a sort of click.

The good part is that the blade only has some reaaaaaly minor pitting around the area that the scales meet the blade when its closed.. the rest only took some polishing with a dremel to clean up...

So I honed it with a couple of laps on the DMT... then some on the BBW and the the colticule...I was expecting some minor chipping or a frown but it was as straight as a razor..

The razor realy feels great.. its pretty lightweight and took an edge in no time at all..I hope it shaves as good as I expect it will (even as this is my second honing attempt with the first one still not quite finished)

now I have too choose... will I first testshave the Dirlam or the Dorko...... or both...
