I was wondering how they shave since I am considering buying one, any additional input appreciated.

Here is the other question that I have, if you came across one 13/16, like those in Shavingshop in unused condition but with plastic scales that you knew are not the original, would you pay, let's say $100 for one? Also, input appreciated here.

They shave excellent! I have one. It's my favorite razor so far. Outshaves my Thiers issard most of the time.

Offcourse I got mine for €15 in a secondhand shop.

I have to agree it does shave a better than a TI, and as for the price I got mine off eBay for a price so low I am ashamed to say...

I have a worldmaster w/crackled ice scales that is beautiful,,,,,but better yet is the shave she gives. It is, in my opinion a better shaver then my TI . I say if you can get one at a good price, jump on it. You won't regret it.

A couple of more shots comparring the two 194 Worldmaster models I have:

One other note of interest: The spine is noticably thinner on the 5/8 model than the 13/16 one.

I just wanted to personally thank every that gave me advice about these Welmeister razors, particularly seraphim and gssixgun (I hope that I am spelling this right ;-) Glen, in any case).
I find my Weltmeister ranking as high as my Thiers Issards or my Filarmonica, if not higher. Oh brother, it gives killer shaves leaving my skin with that coveted sticky feeling. THANKS!

I do not have pictures of the razor but In Buddel's (Gabor) website, you can see pictures of the same razor. He has some Welmeister razors with wooden scales for sale, thanks Gabor. I hope that you like the pictures:
