    Default World Master!

Just recieved a second hand Worldmaster. What I'm excited about is that I already have a Worldmaster, so it's double-trouble!

    Interesting notes:

They are both model 194 as shown on the tang, but my NOS Worldmaster I bought from Shavingshop is a big 13/16 width, the new one is a standard 5/8 (not much hone wear either).

The Shavingshop Worldmaster has a bit of a humpback to the tang, the new one, not so much.

The really cool difference is that the Shavingshop one is made from "Kayser Ellison silver steel ", the new one is made from:
    Bohler extra razor steel
    best elektrik
    silver steel
The new one also has cool three pin scales with a little Worldmaster emblem with what looks to be a little guy riding a razor?

This thing is gonna hit the hones and shave my face this very evening!

    Thanks FaPat5!!!

The new one won't be getting a re-scale. I dig the three pin scales with the litle emblem...

Ok, so if they're both 194's what does that do to speculation on what the numbers mean?

Beautiful razors. I just love the brand name "Worldmaster" - makes me want to shave with one. The ones I've seen tend to have bold styling as well.

Anybody who has the stones to name their product Worldmaster probably crafted it right!

Beautiful blades... not only do they look good they are awesome shavers.

The feel I get from the world master is complete different than any other carbon steel I have experienced on a str8..
