    Default A Wapi at last!

Woo-hoo! I finally pulled the trigger on one of stamps222's Wapis on eBay. I've been wanting one, and the price was certainly right.

Looking forward to welcoming it to its new home, getting it honed, and trying it out.

Wow that's cool :-) You will find this to give a nice shave.
Hmm.. I was not aware that stamps222 sold Wapi's...

You're going to love it. I'm super impressed by what a great shave I get from my Wapi. I think it's the best deal in town (mine was $30 shipped). Dunno why I waited so long to get one.

Just to let you know... it takes a while for these to get to your front door from stamps.

Yes, he gives somewhat of a heads-up about that in the listing. Apparently he's based in the US?, but the Wapis ship from Europe. Given his eBay ratings and what I've read here on SRP about him, I figure the arrangement is reliable, however it works.

I forgot to link to the listing.

And since I don't have a digital camera at home, for now I'll just post the picture from eBay.

I love my Wapi. I'm gonna jazz mine up with some new scales I think. Take care of that balance problem. I only notice it while stropping.

Just honed up a few of these and they are still very decent shavers. Actually one will be heading for a future SRP give away........

    Have fun,

I ordered one too from Stamps22. I read the statement he added to the original listing about shipping taking up to ten days, but I still haven't received mine. The order dates from Feb 8th, my first (yet unanswered) inquiring message from Feb 25th, and a second one just before reading this thread. Were it not for his favourable critique here and in the eBay feedback pages, I'd really begin to worry a bit.
