Thanks for the kind words in general, guys! During the drive home, I was looking at the blades every time I stopped at a red light, and I had this huge grin on my face for at least an hour.
I'll certainly let you know. Cleaning that W&B by hand... well I'm not really too excited about going through that. I would do it, but I'd probably draw the process out for some time. It would be great to see you guys again, too, especially since I missed out on the Festival.
You've got a PM about the Elliot.
You'll be next in line for her.
You've got a PM about the Admiral's.

Nice haul. The Geneva Cutlery looks interesting.

Lucky!!! Can't wait to see the final version of your W&B. I have a similar Joseph Elliott to the one you found, and it is a very nice shaver. What time did you finally make it to the sale? Usually the early birds get the best stuff, unless nobody was interested in straight razors. Again, lucky for you! Congratulations.

I also can't wait to see then final version of the W&B. I'm planning on cleaning up the blade (maybe leaving some patina), but she'll probably suffer in those scales until I can free up some funds for some nice black horn.
I got over to the sale around 12:30 or so, and I believe they opened at 9 or 9:30. The razors were hiding in plain sight; they were right next to the cashier (which was in the back room), but all lumped in a cigar box. Even if I had gone to the estate sale on my own, if I hadn't been given a heads up, I probably would have missed them.
