Whatever you do make sure it is open to bidding in ebay Australia. No joke. That is where I have seen them go for the really big $$.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

First, we're not an appraisal service, and while we sometimes talk about prices of various items, that's more of an exception than the rule. We're all here because we like straight razors, mostly for shaving.
This being said there is an oddity with some Norton stones, if yours falls in that category or not I don't know. You can certainly find out what its current market price is by selling it on ebay. If I were you I wouldn't put my expectations too high. It may sell for hundreds, or it may sell for your opening bid, or not sell at all.
If you want a bit better opinion see if the axe forums (i'm sure there are such) could help you, that seems the only lead to a lot of money that we have.

Regardless of what you decide to do with the hone, I really do hope you'll either hone up a blade on her or send her out to let someone else have a go with her. Maybe I'm the only one, but I'm curious about what a hone that "axe-men" will pay so much for can do to a razor.

I do get that you are joking, but looks like he just joined to get info on the hone; his two posts were both new threads asking for info about it. Sad that the forum gets used that way, but I guess that's how it goes. I wish he'd at least have let someone try out a razor on it as a "thank you" gesture for the information.
Then again, maybe he had good intentions. I'd better before I
