Those thistle cuts take a fantastic edge. I honed one for somebody and I had to fight myself to send it back to them, an awesome shave!

It was a quiet day today so I broke out the light box. Here are some better pics of the two.

I don't know about one of a kind but you are right, I won't be parting with this blade. Especially after my first shave with it yesterday, Wow!! It's not that I won't sell just this blade, but any of my blades, almost. I am very selective in what I buy and as a general rule, don't sell any of them. That said, I did pick up a lot of 30 blades a short while ago. Some fit my style, some not, but all good blades. I sold one blade out of the lot and have another pending. I may part with a few more but I don't think so.
In any event, if I ever do think of selling it Glen will be the first to know.“If you always do what you always did, you will always get what you always got.” (A. Einstein)

Old English Razor
I just got one of these. There are no marks on the tang (at first glance, I haven't cleaned it yet. The lettering on the scales looks identical to the one posted here. Does anyone have information on these razors?
I'll post pics when I get a chance, just got it yesterday.Last edited by Joed; 09-12-2010 at 11:19 AM. Reason: Removed solicitation by OP

don't let him kid you
I think Joe is like Wayne on Chasing Classic Cars. He and his marvelous henchwoman will go anywhere, do anything to obtain the world's finest razors. Once back in their lair, they transform those razors into perfect shaving instruments, causing mortals like myself to foam at the mouth and twitch a lot. They're diabolical, I'll tell ya.Don't get hung up on hanging hairs.
