Yes, this one looks like VERY old tortoise shell to me. Extremely dry, though. A very gentle application of a quality oil like Neatsfoot would preserve it and bring out the shine. Nothing will lighten up the age darkening that I know of, though. Very nice razor and probably pre-1830, in my opinion.
