Thanks Chris! This stone will NEVER end up on eBay, it is just too good.
The price was small and only a fraction of what they are going for on the Bay, as you said. I did get two razors as well, one NOS in the box, but the real thrill came when I saw the Escher. Now, do I go back for the 4 nice strops, or not? What is strop acquisition disorder, anyway? Doesn't everyone have at least 12?

That I don't know; I don't anyway. The thought of having more than one strop doesn't make me hot or cold. Hones on the other hand are something quite different. And an Escher like that is something I'd wish upon every SR enthousiast. You're very lucky! Congrats!

Tucson?
"I stopped by my favorite Tucson antique store today in the hopes of finding a new razor...I did, but the lady at the desk asked me if I would also be interested in a nice stone for sharpening razors. You bet! I was not expecting the boxed Escher she showed me, but when I saw it, I knew that my day had finally come!"
Another SRP member here in Tucson? Congratulations on your find! I have hit most of the antique stores here and must have missed this one. Game on my fellow shaver.
