Good point about the pitting. I'm not really that worried about losing the etching if it comes down to it though. I'll see how the razor looks once I get it.
This makes for the 3rd vintage Grelot made razor that I've won off of the various ebay sites. The other two are in rougher shape. One has zero hone wear and just minor rust, so it will have to lose it's etching, but it'll be an easy enough restore. The other is in similar shape, but with much more rust, so hopefully it'll come out decently.
This one is one of the nicest vintage Grelots I've seen come up in my 6 months of searching for them online.
