Default Why did you let me win this Grelot?

Seemed like a pretty nice razor. Wondering why I won it for much less than the retail price on modern Grelot razors. Hmm...

hmm that pitting may be tough to get out with keeping the finish, but it can still be cheaper than buying one of the TI legrelots which don't have the etching anyways, plus this was entirely made by legrelot.
and if you don't want it to look perfectly clean just hone it and it'll shave just the same.

Good point about the pitting. I'm not really that worried about losing the etching if it comes down to it though. I'll see how the razor looks once I get it.
This makes for the 3rd vintage Grelot made razor that I've won off of the various ebay sites. The other two are in rougher shape. One has zero hone wear and just minor rust, so it will have to lose it's etching, but it'll be an easy enough restore. The other is in similar shape, but with much more rust, so hopefully it'll come out decently.
This one is one of the nicest vintage Grelots I've seen come up in my 6 months of searching for them online.
