Thread: What I got today.

Can't say that I have. I checked the internet and it seems that they have a factory which makes BBQ equipment such as smokers, etc. They are based in Anderson, IN which is north of Indianapolis. Most of their equipment seems to be commercial in nature for restaurants, so I would think that whatever they make for individual consumers would be very good, if not excellent.

As for BBQ...Yes, the eating of BBQ it is pretty big in Indianapolis. I few local BBQ joints such as BBQ Heaven even made it into American Express's national gourmet magazine Food & Wine a few years ago. There is also a BBQ extravanganza every summer in Military Park in downtown Indy. Vendors cme from all over the country so that the locals can sample their cuisine. My wife purchased a slab or two the last two summers at the event and brought them home. I remember that they were very good eating. In fact, it encouraged my wife to ask for a BBQ smoker for her birthday. I happily complied, then spent the next two days assembling it. She's slow-cooked ribs in it, but has devoted most of her time and energy in search of the perfectly smoked & cooked brisket. I'm an official taster and all I can say at this point is, yummmmm.
