    Cool Time to start honing!

Well, the fedex driver just arrived and had a lovely package for me!

Opened it up just to discover some colorful stones.

The label on those hones say... "Fine sharpening-taste as natural stone gives." I actually posted a pix today with a closeup of the label.

Let us know how the hones taste.

You've got some of the best tools in the business there IME. Good luck with them.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

So far I've only used the 1K. Compared to my Spydercos, these are much more fun to use. While the Spydercos are good in their own sense, you really get great feedback when using these stones.

I saw that pic and it literally made me laugh out loud!

When I tasted mine, I was getting strong synthetic notes with a hint of Miso saltiness.
