    Default Got a Wade & Butcher

    I just received a Wade & Butcher I won on eBay. Contrary to the normal "Flee-bay" stuff this one is actually pristine. Good clean scales, tight pins, closes perfectly, nicely polished blade and actually shave ready. It even included the box. I did touch it up with a few laps on the 12K and pasted strop. Man is it sharp! I'll be giving it a work out in the morning.

    I've attached some pictures. All-in-all not bad for $33.

    I just got an email from the seller. Turns out that it's JNT (Tony) from our own group here. He's really got his honing skills down pat. If anyone gets the chance to see anything from him here or from eBay seller "joekulman" you won't go wrong.

    Well I tried 'er out this morning. I think the phrase is "buttery smooth". I had to check several times to see if it was actually cutting and not just sliding across my face (NO fooling).

    What you guys said about the Butchers is right. This is definately a keeper.
