The MacGuyver
Ingredients: Duck tape, wire, cardboard tube (...ahem... you know what kind) and plastic tubing.
Cost to make: about 10 cents not including what your time is actually worth. This was an absolute necessity for me since our bathroom's the size of a broom closet and the medicine cabinet's real estate is an issue, hey it works and it fits!
Colors available: See Duck Tape website...

Thanks guys! While the form is dictated by the function I have a feeling I'll address aesthetics next. I simply couldn't justify paying $100 or + for something that is going to do what this does.
I'd rather spend that on another razor and a scuttle!

Neat design, but I'd be a little worried about having the blades out and exposed to moisture like that. Especially so close to what I assume is a shower curtain.

Thanks Wheelz!
Pretty simple really, for the base I used two pieces of cardboard (corrugated pattern running N to S on one, E to W on the other) to maintain some sort of rigidity, especially since the brush pictured is heavy!
The heavier your brush, the more reinforcement you'll require and in hind sight I would have gone a bit longer on the upright tube since the brush tips almost touch the base.
As for the wiring, I had some heavier gauge galvanized wire laying around; pretty stiff stuff. Covered the wire in plastic tubing (nylon maybe?) to prevent scuffing my brush handle.
I covered any and every piece of cardboard, inside of the tubing included with 2 layers of tape including the corners. This was just to insure nothing gets compromised by moisture but time will tell if I was successful.
The key things to keep in mind here are:
It's Duck tape and wire! Two of the greatest accomplishments of thousands of years of human evolution! Aside from straight shaving itself of course. What could be more masculine than these three things combined?
If the Mythbusters can make a sailboat out of the stuff and people charge $20 bucks for a wallet of the same, the sky really is the limit!
Thanks for the input and feedback fellas! I'll put better pics up when I get a chance.

Here's a link- instructions to making a duct tape wallet:

My next project... since I don't want to pay $200 for the leather version, a British military wetpack. Perfect since work puts me on the road 50% of the time.
Calf-Hide Leather Military Wet Pack - Black from Kiki James
After that, that should pretty much do it for the duck tape fix for a while! It started as a place to hold my stuff while I work on my shaving technique.
