    Default Wonderedge

I scored this nice Wonderedge while looking at a local antique shop. They had a lot of fantastic razors, but I didn't have a lot of cash with me. I spotted this right away and had to have it. I was amazed at the price that they had on it. I was actually surprised to see this Wonderedge as they seem to go for a lot of money.

It needs some cleanup up and has a few spots of rust. The scale is has a chip in it on the other side ,but its not an issue. the edge seems ok ,but I now just see a slight chip in the edge. That I am sure is fixable.

Next photo is a nice little Waterville needs a bit of cleaning , but for the price I paid for both of these I made out fine

Thanks It was fun getting that wonderedge. I do plan on going to that shop again soon. They have quite a few straight razors.

I forgot to post this photo.. This is a G. Wostenholm IXL. Fantastic shape

Nice finds! You will find the Wostenholm to be a stiffer grind than the Wonderedge, and a very smooth shaver when honed properly. Needless to say, the Ducks are all great shavers.

Congrats on a nice haul. I have absolutely no luck when it comes to Antique stores, Flea Markets and the like. If I want anything vintage, I have to take my chances on Ebay or some other internet vendor...

Thanks! I didn't have much luck for a long time, but now I am . I find the small town shops seem to be the best for me. I don't think many are looking for straight razors around here so when I do I find some good stuff.
