Default Lots of new stuff for my AD's

What a shave day for me! It started with a visit to Frank the Barber-he gave me a Straight razor that takes SE blades-perfect for the 100 Ted Pella PFTE's I have. Then a visit to the antique stores my wife frequents. I was able to find out about the Taylor's 1000, but the Strop and other razors I have no information about and welcome any clues. Is this Strop decent? Usable? Which of the 4 sides should I use? I got it for $12 so if it's trash not a huge loss. I like that it's 3 in. My current one is 2 in and I figure it'll be easier to strop with the 3 incher. Taylor's 1000-$25, The Brownish Straight was $12 and seems to be in pretty good shape.

Wow! Nice Eye Witness and strop. Also, is that a Griffon razor with the silver bolsters and simulated wood scales? They are nice shavers.

    Hi there Danny,

Martin here. Heh, nice to see you on this forum......the 'hobby' is sorta running it's course eh? These straight users can be a little weirdly 'enthusiastic' at times, and you should fit right in(meant as a compliment).

Yeah, it's gonna be fun watching your journey, complete with many pics I'm sure!

Good to see you hear Martin. I guess it was inevitable that I'd end up here
with straights. It seems there are a lot more variables to straights-more different kinds of razors and peripherals to deal with.
