    Default Flea Market Tazewell Tn.

Its a good thing I only had 60$ or I would have spent all I had. There were a ton of razors at that market. The W&B has on the blade Noris & Brothers then under that Baltimore. The pipe scales are very thin I don't know what they are made of. I think the Wostenholm & Sons IXL is a ??Faux?? frame back if anyone has any info it would be welcomed. I haven't done anything to these yet, they are as purchased. I will be going back to Tazewell that is for sure.

Very nice score! Ya should have brought more money with you and not told us where you found them. Now that we know the rest of the ones you left behind will probably be GONE!

You got some nice razors there and at a very nice price.

    Aren't local finds just GREAT?!

You, sir, have acquired a very rare Pipe razor; the scales appear to be carved and penned ivory. Even penned bone scales are hard to come by-I only have one penned ivory scaled razor myself. The difference between thin white bone and ivory would be the absence of pores at the ends of the scales. I sure don't see pores. The pins are sterling silver, and were placed one by one in a very labor intensive process. Take care of it-you may never see the like again! I personally would not dare to shave with that razor for fear of breaking the delicate scales. Your Greaves marked America is another highly desirable find, and should be an exceptionally nice shaver. Congratulations!

What a score!!! Seems like it would have been well worth it even if they were in poor condition yet yours all look to be in fairly good condition already. You are too kind to give out the location of where you found this steal as surely there will be other members close enough to check it out and find any that you missed. Congrats on a great buying spree!

I have never seen a Greaves with that stamp, and I agree about the ivory scoles. Very nice haul!
