Thread: Pocket change well spent.

My first straight razor hunt went rather well. I saw a few I thought were interesting but came home with a Geo. Wostenholm & Sons Peerless.
It appears to me, although completely inexperienced, that it has seen very little use.
After arriving home and sitting outside enjoying a cigar I pulled it out for another look. Sharp! I am amazed just how sharp these blades can be. I, again completely inexperienced, can only assume the original owner parted with this in (at least close to) shave ready condition. I hesitantly say this because it effortlessly removed hair from my arm with one very gentle stroke after being disinfected.
After searching I haven't managed to find too much info but will continue to look. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Very curious just how old it would actually be.
