The "Warranted" is probably dates from 1820 or earlier, from the stub tang and scale shape. Probably cannot make a shaver out of it without a destructive metal removal process during honing, but looks very nice as a collector. The Bingham, on the other hand, looks like it could make a fine shaver. Congratulations on a nice pair of razors!

Croaker: The steel seems to be healthy, why is it needed to remove more metal than normal during honing? Itīs approx 2 mm of hone wear on her.

Croaker: Sorry, I did mean approx. 0.1 - 0.2 mm.
