I truly wasn't expecting to find anything like this for $29.95!!! And the W&B wasn't bad for $17 either!! I did have to do a 100 mile round trip, but well worth it.

Is there any good way to protect the paper label? Maybe Krylon or something simular?
You have one of the best Eschers in terms of color reputation, looks like. I have two Eschers (one blue and one yellow green-no label came with the yellow green one), and both have one smooth side and one rough, with fairly deep sawmarks. If your label is on the rough side, you could fix it in place with a product like a polyurethane spray, which would waterproof the label. Or you could do what I did, and soak the label off with water, patiently, dry it and preserve it in an envelope or sheet protector. If your label is on the smooth side, you are going to have to remove it in some way so you can lap and use the hone. Others will probably have better advice, but water soaking removed my label without doing any more damage to it than was present already. What a great score! You are going to be very happy with the edge that can be achieved with an Escher.

I can't wait to try it, I'm clear coating it today.
