Thanked: 0First Straight purchase
I bought my first straight last weekend at an antique store for $13 but unfortunately I chipped the blade when I was cleaning it. Here is a few pics.

If the pics aren't viewable or to large for forum rules let me know as I'm not to good with computers and still learning how to upload pics.

Thanked: 14Let me preface this with, I dont know much about about this company but it can be fairly said that whenever a deal is made with the devil you can often expect unanticipated and dire results. Scary territory considering a razors disposition. JK.
Looks like it would clean up really nice, but to my eyes it looks like theres a frown on the edge. Might want to get one of the pro's to set that straight (if indeed it does exist)
Im exhited for your first,

Thanked: 0Thanks. I think your right about the frown, I have to send this out to get honed so hopefully it can be fixed then.

Thanked: 3795If you hold a straight edge to the photo, you will see that it probably does not have a frown. I suspect it is an optical illusion due to the blade's angle relative to the box. If it does have a frown, then it is minimal and will easily hone out just fine.
