Default SRAD, I've got it bad...!

Over the last few months I've built up a small collection, these are all the ones that are "shave ready"
I don't post here often, and hope to remedy that now

    From left to right:
    • Gotta 120 5/8*
    • Heljestrand MK No.8*
    • Thiers Issard Spartacus 4/8*
    • Cador Supreme Diamant
    • Gotlieb Hammersfahr
    • Heljestrand Frameback*
    • Anton Winger Jr. 5/8*

    * These have their original boxes.

I've still one very rare Heljestrand No. 36 Frameback with ivory scales on it's merry way back from Neil Miller
and have about 10 that are not shave ready, which will at one point should get restored. (funds permitting)
All the blades are lightly oiled, and therefore might look a bit weird in the photos.

The Gotta I just sold, and went to a good home

The Gotlieb and the Cador were done by Andy (Arrowhead), see:
    Cador Supreme Diamant
    Gotlieb Hammesfahr

I'll post a few pics of the ones needing work in another post

    Hope you guy like them!

And here are some that need a bit of work:

A Focke 5/8 with a lovely spine, does have some pitting on the blade, but should be fine.

A Heljestrand (yes, another one of those!) Frameback, will need new scales, because these ones look manky.

A Temmah 6/8 with a nice spine, not very fond of the scales, hence it being put on hold.

A nice Duisy-Steel 4/8, with nice scales, might be on the list at one point.

A Heljestrand No.32, with a blade that need some work, and ivory scales that are cracked.

No idea in which order they'll be restored, and all depends on money of course!
(those that need the least work are done first)

Nice collection youve got. Get you 10 or 12 brushes and few strops. Grab you enough soap and cream to last 6 life times and youll be set.

All are very nice blades and all in quite good condition. I bet you'll want an 8/8 next!

Got 2 strops, + one on the way, and for the soaps your estimate is probably on the low side...

Thanks everyone for the nice comments

Love an 8/8, but also like to try a barbers notch and a few others..
No sheffield steel in my collection... yet....

Nice collection. The Cador and the Gotlieb look like they could double as fishing lures.

Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

Love the Gottlieb, probably one of my favorites, Andy did a brilliant job on it, better than I had hoped for. It might partially be because it's my first custom scaled one, and it's just special because of it
