    Thumbs up Super Strop

Here is a Kangaroo/Cowhide strop that just came in the mail today from member "Legion" downunder.....

Someone wrote that stropping on Kangaroo hide is like stropping on silk. That's a fact and I am glad I took the plunge. It wreaks of craftsmanship and it ain't for sale. Get one............

I'ver read a couple posts on the roo strops lately, and I'll admit, I'm getting pretty intrigued. It's on the "want" list for sure.

Is it soft and supple right from the get go, or is there a breaking in period?

The leather is quite thin, soft, supple and has the texture and feel of doeskin gloves.

Again, I would like to remark about the fantastic craftsmanship. Legion should definitely consider a career making leather goods. This strop is number twenty in my collection and I have no regrets about the purchase.

I don't have a lot of strops. I have latigo and horsehides. This strop here is not like anything I've stropped on. Pretty darn nice. Very darn nice.
