15/16" Ernst Klopp "Spezial"
I was lucky (I think) to be only bidder on this thing of beauty; a 15/16" Ernst Klopp "Spezial". She's in pretty tip top condition, with the exception of back tang area (some sort of stain that wouldn't go away with MAAS)
Does anyone have any info on the maker/manufacturer? I haven't seen too much info on them. She seems to be taking a pretty nice edge (although not shave tested yet)

I have no factual information about Klopps, but I have had a few and they have been top notch shavers. Yours is a beauty.

Max: I have a question for you. Do you think that "stain" on part of the backside tang can go away (picture #2)? ideas?

Im sorry Robert to tell you but there is no hope. You REALLY should let me handle this eye sore for you. I would hate for that staining to spread to your Maxeum pieces. LOL Just kidding. Very lucky catch!
