Large Wosty IXL and WB Barber's Rattler finds
Picked these two up today, they'll be awesome when I give them a good polishing and new scales.
Really wish the blade stamp was more intact on the George Wostenholm but oh well.

Very nice blades; a great find. Can't wait to see them when you're done with the work.

Those are some nice big razors. My first shave was with a Wosty, and I just love W & Bs. Great finds.

Has anyone dealt with rust in the form of little squiggly lines all over a blade? It's black then pitted once the black is removed. I have been hand sanding with lower and lower grit on the Wostenholm trying to get these out completely and quickly. I'm down to 60 grit and still not getting anywhere very fast. Is old Sheffield steel extremely hard? Thanks for any help.
