Update on this one, got her honed and shave ready last night and had a test shave. Smooth as butter, this is a hair melter for sure.
I wanted to make a comparison though between this and the Grelot style TI i have (pic at the very top). Even though they're both quarter hollow, they shave very differently. The Ti, while being quarter hollow is definitely more hollow than the full fat Grelot, and as a result provides a little more feedback in the shave. Also the Ti is a shorter blade so is lighter in the hands, maybe accounting for the increased feedback. The standout feature of the original is that it's almost completely silent, and you def do not feel the hairs popping. you just run it down and hair disappears from your face and reappears on the blade.
So there you go, the Le Grelot form blades are similar in look and grind, but very different in shave. Both shave awesome.

Nice find! I like the thumb notch, I have a couple razors with it and the fell good in hand. Congrats!

yeah, am a big thumb notch fan too, the puma 52 was my first on, just love the form
