11/16 is original width on a Special. Shure looks nice. Awesome shavers! Congrats!

The scales look to be the same as mine and are original... Looking at the close-up pics on the auction I would guess that they are even original pins it just looks like the Pivot pin has been beat on a bit more than the Wedge pin which is quite common...

Here's mine, as promised. It doesn't have the size anywhere on the package, but it measures 11/16 (that's what vintage 5/8 usually measures). It does have hammered tang with a flat stripe in the middle where the stamp is (and complete with a fingerprint)
