Dubl Ducks and Brushes from Antique Mall
One of our favorite antique malls participated in small business Saturday, so my wife and I had to check it out. I was awed by the amount of straight razors offered, and most of them were in excellent condition. I just have too much stuff so had to limit myself to two razors. Leaving the mint condition Puma behind was heartbreaking. I made up for it by getting two Duble Ducks and some fine brushes which will be shipped to Rudy for some new knots. If anybody is interested in the details of this antique mall, where I left at least 20 razors behind, PM me. It's in the Chicago area-north of Chicago. The black one has Cmon scales-is that legal? It's a Satinedge. The other is a Wonderedge. Both are in fine fine condition.

Nice score! Ya know, sometimes you have to bend your rules and get the Puma.

So here are some pictures of what I picked up today!! This place was great......
First the puma...
Second an American Double Hollow with MOP inlay on the tang...
Third a Joseph Elliott's (needs some work)...
And fourth and fifth (the top one I got b/c it was like $15 and figured it'd be good to learn to hone on since I'm getting the Naniwa 3 stone set from SRD and the bottom one I got for a buddy who I have turned on to straights and its just needs a honing an he'll be set to go!)...
Oh and not related to shaving AT ALL I think I'm going back tomorrow to pick up this 1950s Wet Bar, Record player, AM/FM radio and wait for it.....FAUX FIREPLACE! that is in 100% working condition and looks and sounds GREAT!!
Thanks so much for the great tip! Even got some awesome holiday present ideas for SWMBO while we were there!!

Sweeeet! All the ones I left behind. SWMBO liked the scales on the American Double Hollow and nudged me to get it-I've got enough for a
30 day set-it's enough. Ok never really enough. Congrats!!
