I recently became acquainted with an older gentleman who happened upon the Puma factory in Solingen once many years ago. At the time he had the insight to pick up a few razors just because 'he enjoyed the workmanship'. He never used them, and never touched them with his bare hands(!). Well his diligence paid off! Here is one of his Puma's that, as of the 27th, I now enjoy custody of - a NOS Puma 5/8 "high Class' - Enjoy! (Sorry for photo-bombing)
P.S I will share the others when my hands stop shaking lol.

My camera needed a new battery before I could get pics of my gifts
Taylor of Old Bond St. Travel tubes
Mom found a 1940s Old Spice mug and a funky old fashioned ceramic razor stand in an antique store
Grandpa gave me an Gelilet DE rocket
Seemed odd at first but then I realized how practical it was for setting a razor down with it open

Here are what I have received from Santas, I'm been a very good guys this year and I've prayed so much!!!!
Here you can see one part of my gift because there are more on the way, I'm waiting for a pitcher with washbowl for complete my nice vintage shave den, and I'm also waiting for 3 stone, 1 is a Silkstone, 1 I believe is a Schwedenstein and 1 unknow.
So here what you see in the pictures,
Water of Ayr - Moughton whetstone - and 2 Tam o'Shanter, 1 white and 1 grey.
About razors, there's a 6/8 Revisor NOS and a Huge 8/8 Revisor Nos.
I hope you have received the same nice things...

I had an amazing Christmas!
My family surprised me with 3 old razors they found at an antique store, one was a Dubl Duck satinedge, one from the Fromm Bros., and one made in my home town of Pittsburgh. They also through in a nice bottle of Trumper's Eucris cologne (smells amazing btw, people are always complimenting me on the scent).
The best gift ever was my fiance pre-arranging all of the logistics to get me a custom made by Max (very convenient as I happened to move in just down the street from him earlier this year). I'll be sure to post some pics when it's all finished. It was great because she researched razors a bit and gave me input on what she thought looked best so we got to work on the details together.
...and I bought a second custom from Max as a gift to myself because... how can anyone resist? :-)

Thanked: 485Obviously she's a 'keeper' ;-)
I showed SWMBO the razor on the Revisor page (several times), showed her where the Favorite was stored on my computer (JUST in case she 'needed' to revisit the page), wrote down the URL, hinted (LOUDLY), told her I NEEDED another razor, only one more, that was all (and then I was 'finished') and all I got was underwear and no Christmas sex, isn't there supposed to be Christmas sex? Is that a tradition? :-(Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?
