Amboss Mann Solingen 7 Day Set
It's been eons since I've last posted here. I dropped out of straight razors for a while, and recently picked them back up. But, I came across this set in a local antique store about a month ago. I thought I'd share pics with you all here. I hope to be sending it out shortly to get honed and cleaned up....

Wow! what a find! Without the country stamped on the tang, I think those date from pre-1890's. I could be wrong about that, though, so don't take my word for it.

Yeah that is very nice. Honed and cleaned up you'll have a bunch of great shavers.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Not commonly seen, but really nice shavers in my experience of one. A nice Solingen set in excellent condition, congratulations! Look forward to a post-honing shave report.

Thanks everyone! Yeah, I was pretty stoked to find them. Interesting thoughts on the date, 96firephoenix. I didn't know that about the country of origin, and I had just assumed they dated from the '20s-'30s.
I'll be sure to report back on how they shave.

Congrats on a great find!
Even better that you found them in a local shop. Aren't local finds just GREAT?!
