Thread: First home brewed scales

Well, about as done as they are going to get this time around. Got some encouragement to try making scales in this thread http://straightrazorpalace.com/show-...ipe-razor.html . Thanks for the push.

Thanks for the positive comments fellas. Like a coat of new paint a poor photo covers a multitude of sins. I just thought a one piece would be easier to do than a two piece, no wedge and only one pin etc. The finish is Varathene satin interior rubbed down with Turtle wax rubbing compound. I think I can live with the flaws on a daily shaver. Now to get the bladed honed sometime. Got to decide if I should get the stones or let somebody who knows what they are doing hone it.
