Thanked: 0First antique store trip in months...and jackpot!
I haven't been to an antique store in months - and this time, I was actually just looking for a safety razor
I didn't find one...but I did find this!
A Dubl Duck "Goldedge", nearly perfect quality. The blade has its factory finish, it doesn't look like it's ever been honed, and the plating on the tang is barely worn! The scales are warped - gotta be careful closing the blade - but hopefully I'll have that fixed up soon. I'm hoping to send it off to Glen over at GemStar Customs - 'gssixgun' here on the forums. He's straightened out Dubl Duck scales before, so it shouldn't be a problem - hopefully I'll hear back from him soon.
I wasn't sure how desirable these are before I bought it...but apparently they're pretty high up on the list! This is only my second razor, but it seems like a damn good one.
(Don't have my photography equipment with me right now, unfortunately)

Thanked: 0Assuming I measured correctly, it's 7/8'' - seems like the biggest size they made
I'm gonna be real happy with this one...
