    If the blade is really dull, you can gently pry the guard off the sides and hone it like you would any other razor - except that you'll need to push the blade instead of controlling it from the tang.

    I have sharpened several rolls blades that way, and when they are properly sharpened they give a fantastic shave.

    A big thanks to"RobH." for the instruction manual download! I didn't get one with mine! Does anyone wet the hone before using it? I was thinking of Smith's honing Solution. Mine just has a cardboard box, not a fancy one like Hirlau. ;-(

    Wow John, you got a good ideal on that one. Great score! It looks good too. I have a couple & they are pretty cool.
