Default 9/8 W. GREAVES and SONS Masonic etched razor

Been lusting after one of the BIG Masonic razors for a while now. Saw this on ebay and gave it my best shot. After getting outbid on the last several, I got tall enough to win this one and spent ALL of my lunch money in the process. I'm happy with it as it matches my ring.

I'll get her honed up this weekend. It won't take much it appears. Probably fill the worm bites in the scales and run 'er as is.

That is one big good looking vintage razor. Worth going without lunch for a bit I'd say. You know you might have just found the diet plan I have been looking for.

I watched this one go on the bay. Really nice. Happy it went to one of our members. Enjoy that beauty.

    Uh huh.

I've been wondering who's been hammering me out of the bidding on these big ones. LMAO.

I used a sniping program for the FIRST time in my life. I was at work and had to or I figure it would have gone higher than it did. I only bid once. LOL

If you'd have bid $6.07 more, you'd be showing it off now. LOL

I'm done chasing the big boys for a while. I'll give ya shout if I get to bidding again.

Don't remind me about the $6.07.....LOL Yes that's me chasing anything 8/8, 9/8 (from a reputable manufacturer of course). I have yet to get a 10/8 but I'm still looking. I have two 8/8 masonics that I want to post but the patina over the etching makes it impossible to photograph. One is Marshes and Shepherd. The other is a Wade and Butcher.

Yours is def the best. It's 9/8's, the marking are crystal clear, it's in great shape and your name is Wullie...what more can you ask for...lol

I'm switching up my style too. There's a certain type of blade that I'm stalking right now. We'll be speaking soon again my friend...LOL
