I can remember riding across country with as a kid with my dad and watching for the next set of Burma Shave signs. Helped break the monotony.
It was a long way from Minneapolis to Fort Worth in the late 50's and early 60's.Cangooner likes this.

They did pass the time. I remember them most on train trips with my Mom from Los Angeles to Kansas City, Mo in the
mid-50's during summers as she would go to visit her Mom and Dad.Wullie likes this.Bob

I've looked for inspiration
both high and low
but antique signage
seems the way to go!

I have only seen a few sets of these signs that are left, but one set was on the way to work years ago...
