Hi everyone... So ive received an email from Celticcrusader saying my razor is finished and here are the pics of her in her shining glory... Im extremely happy and cannot wait to get me hands her!!!

Well i should receive tomorrow or the day after so im going to finish my last bit of prep (get some shave soap and a bowl) today/tomorrow and then im good to go. On a bonus, as this will be my first ever shave with a straight razor, the wife is away this week so i can have some quality time to take it easy, to learn and hopefully enjoy. My wife is really clumsy so i dread to think what would happen if she was around for my first shave.... Ha ha

As far as the Misses; I don't have one around but I do have my 19 year old son. When I go to shave I tell him things like; 'Stropping' and he responds OK! This way he 'knows' not to barge into the bathroom! However if I'm starting to prep and shave and there is company, I just lock the door so I have no surprises!!
