Agree with the others that is a very interesting razor.
When you get it cleaned up could you post a picture of the Tang?
And let us know how it shaves of course...

I haven't see the razor, very strange one !
On the blade "sans nom" means "no name", I thinks is because the strange look of the razor : you couldn't give him a name.
By the way the shap is inspired by a marsh and shephred razor.
the date : could be 1840-60 range, are you sure for "médaille DE" ? "médaille d'argent" maybe ?
