    I guess if you really want to age the blade some, you could try diluting some gun blue. Degrease your razor first and protect your edge though...

    Another one I just tried on my carbon cleaver was to use raw beef on a warm dry blade. Made for or a good effect and protects against rust. A lot of people use this for their kitchen knives
