Thanked: 485Still Chasing a Nice Forced Patina...
I got this effect this afternoon on my Jernbolaget, I quite like it...
Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

Thanked: 485All The Colours of The Rainbow
A couple of more photos, I couldn't leave it alone and did another 'layer'; lemon juice, vinegar. The whole process included olive oil and mineral turps and a syringe. I really like it. It's really cool in the light, there's all these colours...

Still Chasing a Nice Forced Patina...
Looks a little like people do after a good pickling. Nice!

Have you tried mustard? I've used that to get cool effects on kitchen knives.

That looks interesting. Kind of like color case hardening. Which would look amazing in a razor but would probably render it far too brittle for use.

Still Chasing a Nice Forced Patina...
At first I thought I needed to put my drink down ... But if everyone else sees it, then I shall pour another. Neat effect, and probably easily removable if desired. Am I correct?
It's just corn syrup... Warm, blood flavored, corn syrup ...
