Nice catch, I was watching that one and at 12 minutes to go, decided to let you or whoever came out on top have it.

It is a great looking old razor.

When you gonna get primed and use of those 300 sump'n pieces of BIG iron to shave with or stir paint with?

Saving your money to move to AUSTIN?

Which, although not entirely out there, isn't likely IMO. I believe your blade is shaped just as it was intended to be, and just as it was originally sold. I believe it's a result of the way these particulars faux framebacks were ground.

UMMM dear regular fellow. posted bellow is a detailed graph of what I believe is the "altered" area on my razors. In this post if you read #18 you will see holli4pirating response to what I was referring to. I hope this graph helps. it took me several minute to make and I increased the size of the pink arrows several times just incase you don't click on the links provided.

I don't have a scale that could weigh it. Maybe a post office scale?

Right, ginormous pink arrow no. 2 - definitely altered. Your latest purchase however, hence forth known as 'humongous pink arrow no. 1' is, IMO, as first conceived. Enjoy

So this blade finally showed up today. Thank you Hurricane Sandy you suck. I got the measuring stick out and it's a whopping 17/16. I'm happy with the blade overall. It's really heavy but I have no way of weighing it. The one thing is that it doesn't close center so when I send it out to for restoration I will have to ask to have it close properly.

Today is a good day. I turn over ebay to you wonderful people. I am on a hiatus now while I finish moving.

    King Cheetah..lol
