this is getting bad in a hurry ! 3 straight razor shaves into my new found hobby and razor #3 is on its way !! it shall be my early Christmas gift from me to me !! my new 4/8 Boker

they are , i should have the one in the middle , this was pretty much an impulse buy lol i liked the way it looked and wanted to try a 4/8 so i bit the bullet and placed the order ..lol

I never thought I would say I was excited about shaving again either. I bet the folks that have been around awhile get a kick out of it. I have only been SR shaving for a couple of months or so and not only can I not stop buying razors, strops, hones, etc. etc. etc. I can't shut up about it. If you find the thread/sticky/psychology dept. let me know okay? I want to know WHY I would bid on a piece of Damascus steel a little bigger than a razor and the perfect width. And dang if I didn't win it.
