Thread: Not sure how I never found this before.

So my dubl duck hone came in, along with the rest of the goodies. It was sold as a vintage barber lot, and for a grand total of $70I ended up with the hone, a couple WB's, a Frederick Taylor wedge, some other razors in various states of decay, and the 3 pictured. The black henkels wasn't even in the listing, and though the duck has been cut down and needs some love, I am hoping to make an attempt at some gold black acrylic scales to kind of mimic the DD style.

Well, after getting comfortable honing, I decided it was time to take this one to the stones, but, upon checking it with a loupe I found a 1/4" crack near the heel. I guess this will just have to be a display piece. Dang.
