The little hone may be a bit chalky and quite soft wih spots of white rather than cream with slightly darker spots and hair fine veins.. Here is mine

That is a lovely stone Richard. It is quite a diverse lot. 88 items in total. So will have to do some research. . Good thing I have the next 3 weeks off.

If the hone looks a bit like frozen Tapioca Pudding it may be a "Water of Ayre" hone. That is what my "George the Third" above posted became. I had to look for the answer in back files. A Tam o' Shanter would have tiny blue speckles.
    Either way you done good!

It is a big lot and I hope It is worth the money invested.Tell me my friends what do you see?

    I see:

    1 (maybe 2 coticules)
    Straights ofcourse
    Lots of paddle strops
    Hanging strops
    DE razors and blades
    soap
    brushes
    mugs

These are all quite obvious but do you guys maybe reconize some brands? Maybe an ID on the straights or DE razors.

I think I also see a large block of alum. Would something like that be safe to use? I mean with blood diseases and all.

To a guy who only shaves with though vintage means it surely is worth the money.
It's is kind of better ya won it and not me. Lord o lord the shipping to the states would have run a cost
    of 70 ueros.

Other than soap you should never have to buy another thing shaving related!

Yes the shipping would be alot. The price for lighter packages are alot cheaper to ship to the U.S. Up to 2kg of weight the price is still quite good to ship.
There seem to be lots of nice items in it. Already got a couple men who are interested in buying that open comb slant.

    Hello Richard.

I got the lot today. It seems to be a Coti on the little plate. And a BBW in the paddle.
