Colt commerorative razor
No pics yet, but I just picked up a Colt 175th anniversary straight razor.
I got it real cheap and knew that it was not a real razor for getting a good shave but couldn't pass it up. Made in China (imagine that), I'm kind of hoping that if I hang onto it long enough it may gather some value to a Colt collector.
Anyone see these out there?

LOL. I know it is not going to go over on this site, but for a Colt collector it may. $10 gamble.
To bad it is not good steel, because it is a nice looking razor.
Trust me, It was not bought as a first razor or one to be put in the rotation, more of a display/ discussion piece.

I saw them and was thinking of getting one even if it is a straight razor knife.

Thanked: 1195So what exactly is the point of making and selling so-called commemorative "razors" that aren't even functional?

If its got that famous pony stamped on it, someone will buy it, not me, even though my Safe Queen is a SAA.
I wouldn't mind having a Colt toothbrush though.
