Can't believe I won this razor
Anyone ever used one of these? It looked like a good one so I bid $40 days ago and I just got an email that I won! I had forgot about it to be honest. I hope it is a good one! Any info would be much appreciated.

Wester Bros was a quality razor and that one looks to be in stellar condition.

Can't believe I won this razor
Ha!! Sweet deal. What is the manganese steel? Is that special someway? Could those scales be ivory?

I have a wester brother manganese razor and it's a fantastic shaver. That one is really a beauty and should serve you well. Congratulations on a good find!

Manganese steel was one of their models. De Fi was another. If that is a manganese in a DE Fi box so much the better. The DE Fi usually came with brown scales with stripes of another color running vertically. I've got a manganese with scales like those. I've seen Wester Bros in bone but never ivory. Doesn't mean they didn't make 'em. I also would bet your razor has celluloid scales.
