Here's the Robert Becker scuttle, I had shaved this morning, but couldn't resist taking it for a test drive. Really nice! I am really looking forward to using it for real tomorrow.

Or maybe I'll use the dirty bird one first and put up a picture of it.

Yesterday I had no scuttles, and today I have two!

SWMBO got me this. Sorry, just stock photos for now, but you can catch glimpse of it under a Wapi in the SOTD thread. No, it NOT come with a seven-day set of Thiers-Issard razors, but that's cool. I had just remarked that I had everything but a display rack for the razors I have... I guess I should have mentioned that I also don't have a Thiers-Issard razor, either! (or a Henckels, or a Boker, or a Wade&Butcher meat chopper, or a Bartmann...)

As it is difficult to open, due to the rack fitting so tightly inside box that the lid grabs it, I find it more useful to just pull the rack out, sit it on top of the box and lay the leather pad on top of the razors as a splash guard.

I have this same one. My only gripe with it is my 7/8 TI is too big to fit into it, & the lid won't close. Overall nice box though.

Well I have spoken early. Dad just gave me some British Sterling Cologne and After Shave. Everyone seemed to get a set for him this Christmas so I got one of the three packs he got. Something new to try in SOTD.
Shaving with facial hair is like a golfcourse. It's a challenge of rough and fairways. You are the skilled greenskeeper of your face?

No pics, but parents got me something razor related...sort of? 9" skil bandsaw, can't wait to cut some g10 w/it. My sister and I got my father an airbrush gun and compresser... I see some funky airbrushed acrylic scales in the future possibly?

Well my 17 years old son, who goes to school and works 4 to 10 hours a week, got me the Van Der Hagen set, brush cup and puck, with his OWN money, its probably not something most of you would drool over but the facts that he purchase something that im passionate about makes it priceless to me.

I totally understand. My son painted and glazed my shave mug 4 years ago for Christmas...he is now 11. I would love to try a fancy scuttle, but I'll probably never stop using this mug

    Best brother ever.

You barely need any load on the brush to make insane amounts of lather, this will last me years with 4 shaves a week. The scent is fairly light but intoxicating, floral but manly.

And to anyone wondering if its worth the money to have it shipped, the answer is YES.

    Merry Christmas
