Just saw the second set of pics. That bevel looks wicked; it will take some work to correct, and I hope you are able to corrrect it, because that is one cool razor. Good luck.

As for the scales, it's hard to tell from the pics, but they could be made of leather. Not sure if you've ever seen leather scales, but they are out there. Have fun with that one, it has the potential to look real good and unique when you're finished with it.

i hope it shaves well , there was a TON of micro chips near the heel , some you can see in the pics ... im gonna try to finish gettin them out tonight ... 4.. fingers crossed !!! ..lol
