Thanked: 28Nice score! I've always loved this shape, I never seem to be able to find one in decent condition though =[

Thanked: 1936I had to go 1 layer on mine.
The Case razor, is the steel as hard as their other razors? You have my interest...Southeastern Oklahoma/Northeastern Texas helper. Please don't hesitate to contact me.
Thank you and God Bless, Scott

I also just got my hands on a DePew razor, I previously had only seen in pictures. I was kind of shocked by how small it actually was

I have one of those Case Springville, NY smiling razors with a normal monkey tail. Used to have another with the same scales as that pictured above but sold it. Hard steel and a lot of work to hone to shave ready IME.
That is one reason I never bought one. I had an opportunity to get a really nice one but the seller, an SRP member, pointed out to me the length of the blade and I decided against it. For someone with a beard, or a goatee I bet it would be sweet for working around the edges.
